12m “All-Rounder” Working Vessel Design #229

This design was commissioned in 2020 to fulfil a multi-purpose role, as a general workboat in an aquaculture environment as well operating as a day charter fishing vessel. As such the vessel has been certified for commercial use in New Zealand (MNZ40A & 40C with an Enclosed Limits operational area designation).

The overriding feature of this vessel is the 14.5 square metre aft deck area. There are 2 comfortable berths in the forward cuddy cabin, accessed from the deckhouse. A small galley completes the picture for occasional overnight excursions.

Again, like the bulk of our designs this vessel is ruggedly constructed of marine-grade aluminium. Currently in build at West Coast Boats, Raglan, New Zealand this vessel will ultimately operate in the Coromandel area of the North Island.
