11.45m Sealegs Project Design #233

This design was commissioned in 2021 to fulfil the role of day excursion vessel for the family and commuter in the Seatlle/Puget Sound area. A Sealegs™ Type 100 retractable wheel system is clearly the central feature of this design and will enable the vessel to be stored off the water.

The vessel has been designed to fit into a “garage” of specific dimensions and thus the mast/aerials will pivot down to lower the overall height. The deckhouse has twin shock seats forward, a small galley and comfortable seating for 4/5 around the table. The cuddy forward houses a day head.

In addition to the commuter role the vessel will also be used for fishing excursions so the aft deck (7.35 square metres or 24 square feet) is appropriately sized.

As of mid-2022 this vessel is in build at Rozema Boat Works, Mt Vernon, WA. We are looking forward to this boat getting out there……!!!
