An older design, dating back to 2004, but no less valid in a world where fuel is increasingly more costly.
Trawler-style motor yachts offer exceptional interior volume and a even a 40’ LOA vessel such as this one would be imminently suitable for extended coastal cruises or even as a permanent liveaboard.
A feature of this vessel is the large transom door which pivots down to extend the aft deck space. Powering will be ideally in the 120 Hp to 150Hp range although 375 Hp was chosen to power the first vessel built to this design. As an alternative to the Trawler-style there is also an option for a Sedan cruiser shown here.
Like the bulk of our designs this vessel is ruggedly constructed of marine-grade aluminium. As can be seen from the photo’s it’s a big job for a owner-builder and although construction started way back in 2005 this able ship is still not on the water. This vessel is now for sale as an uncompleted project.
