6.0 metre Centre Console D-RHIB – Design #128

This is one of the smaller RIB’s we have designed….but is no less capable. Hull #1 is a police vessel operating in Nova Scotia. The design originated as another successful collaboration between DVD Design and Kanter Marine in Ontario, Canada in response to a tender for a new vessel for the RCMP.

Being only 6.6m overall the vessel is obviously trailerable and therefore deployment from various launching ramps is facilitated. This boat can get to the action pretty quickly if needs be.

Just like all of our other RHIB designs this one benefits from a rugged, marine-grade aluminium hull structure. These are tough, workmanlike and capable seaboats which can handle being mistreated, going aground on stony beaches and the other types of knocks and bumps commonly encountered or associated with a working/policing type of utilisation.
