10.5m Aft Console D-RHIB – Design #110
A fine example of a vessel design dedicated for a specific task. In this case the requirement was for a fast, rugged, offshore-capable military/police vessel capable of carrying 12 PAX.
The inflatable collar is D-shaped so as to maximise deck space within road trailering width limitations. In plan view this design also has the rounded bow shape which facilitates coming alongside other vessels during interdiction operations. Together with Kanter Marine (Canada) , AMF Boats (New Zealand) and other builders in Europe we at DVDesign have almost 30 RHIB designs featuring either fully circular tube or D-tube sections.
This design has resulted in an extremely capable vessel suitable for Special Operations, Interdiction, Patrol and Personnel Transfer or even as a tourism platform where the attraction being visited needs a dedicated type of boat.
