NEW 9.5m QRV RHIB – Design #146
Back in 2006 we completed the design of the DVS9.5 Aluminium Rescue RIB Rescue RIB for Coastguard North Shore in Browns Bay, Auckland. Now ten years and 10000 hours later they have a new boat, which draws heavily on the older design but coupled with a boatload of new ideas and preferences.
Once again the contract for the build was awarded to AMF from Wanganui and the end result is the spectacular new vessel which you see here. By all accounts she is a great boat and will surely serve the Coastguard well for the next ten years or more.
This robust aluminium RIB is suitable for Coastguard, search and rescue (SAR), Pilot vessel, Police vessel, firefighting, military or high speed pleasure cruising boat.
