Another interesting concept design with enough merits to warrant being included in this category of FRV’s even though it has not been built.
The concept originated in response to Middle East customers to whom we had already supplied (DVD designed and built in NZ) 2x 11.7m QRV’s, 2x 10.5m QRV’s and plus a 9m QRV. There was a need for a larger vessel based on the 11.7m QRV design so as shown this concept is similar in many respects albeit larger and more capable.
The features and configuration of this concept design are shown on the attached general arrangement.
