12m Aluminium Transport Landing Craft Design # 196

This design is a joint effort between De Villiers Marine Design and Van Schalk Marine Design (Manta Marine Design).
This multi-purpose working vessel was recently built by Metal Designs Ltd in Auckland, New Zealand. This design has been certified for commercial use (MNZ40A & 40C with operational area: Enclosed Limits) and has a cargo capacity of 4800 kg. As such this vessel was designed to transport a digger and building materials between the mainland and outlying islands in the Far North of New Zealand utilising a bow ramp to on/offload the cargo.
